My Weekend! :)

Hi all, hope you have had a great weekend, you don't have any excuses not to have had what with all this sun we've had! Ahem...

...now I say sun, but today has let us down a bit hasn't it?  I've had a lot of fun though, chilling with hubby at home, getting a lot of things sorted and also spending time with my lovely matey <3 xxxx

We had a nice lunch and went around the shops and bought some lovely things, including this new dress that I bought. What do you think? :) xx

Apart from that me and the hubs went out with family and friends last night and sampled the local ale-age :).  It was a late but great night lol.

I really enjoyed the opening ceremony for the Olympics,  it was an amazing display and everybody put such a lot of time and effort in.  I love my country xx

What is everybody doing today to avoid the rain? Have a good one either way :)  Peace out xx

OK, so originally I couldn't decide what to do for tea tonight, but as usually I felt around in my freezer and came across another beautiful product from my good friendly butcher's Michael Kirk....beefburgers!

Also, I grabbed my crinkle-chipper to make the perfect accompaniment - my own home cooked chips! We really enjoyed them :)

Over the weekend and judging by how the weather for the weekend is forecast, we plan on spending some time in a lush beer garden with some beautiful on-site brewed bitter.  OK I'm biased, but hubby first got me into this hehe. Don't mind if I do.. what's YOUR favourite tipple??

This weekend I plan on doing absolutely sweet nothing at all...except chilling and spending time with the people I love with a good friend of mine popping over for a catch-up.  Feels like ages.

I'm leaving the town centre alone because generally, crowds distress me and although I enjoy shopping, it's not the most relaxing way to spend my time away from the famous four walls.

 Make sure you get out and enjoy what the sunny days have to offer.  I'm darn sure I'm going to xx

 

'Off' Weeks lol..

Hey, and welcome to my first post (of the week) lol. I shall probably seek refuge on here many times to get ready for the vents hehe!! Just kidding :) xx

Now you and I both know that as much as we love those sunny days when you're free from work, it's wonderful, but let's face it, it doesn't happen all that often. But what happened to today it was a right mixture?! From absolutely chucking it most of the morning and part of the afternoon to dazzlingly sunny later on....madness.

Also, I am so, SO looking forward to payday :S Even though it is only just over a week away, I think it is safe to say that being moneyless is not fun at all.  The smallest thing that you want to do becomes non-existent because you simply don't have the pennies to fund it.  On with next Friday I say :) xx

I have been no-braining out in front of the bright box (TV) this evening because ashamedly, I do not have the desire to do anything else lol.  But I may not be doing this agian in a hurry as the Go-Compare man is honestly about to drive me out of my mind!!  Does anyone else feel the same?? ;)

Honestly feeling finally, that I need to induct myself into the hubby's gym..Even though I do not necessarily look fat or overweight, I  feel that I need to do something about the slight overhang that is starting to develop on my waistline.  Plus it doesn't help that I practically hyperventilate jogging even a yard to the bus stop *SHAME*.  So the gym it will have to be when I can afford it again :)

I will be letting you know when I take the first plunge.  Keep-a-watching for my observations on simple, and odd, daily life and I will keep you posted... ;)
